The Hippodrome is equipped with state of the art sound, lighting, and video production. The Dance Club sound system is powered by over 25,000 watts of amplification. The lighting system enlists hundreds of the most current version's of computer controlled robotic light fixtures manufactured today.The computerized lighting effects and video production is combined with the same type of special effects machines used in theaters and movie studios to create an experience like none other. The Hippodrome's production experts have the capability of transporting club goers to another place and time by completely surrounding them with sound, light, video, special effects, and live action on a scale never before seen in a nightclub anywhere. The club is outfitted with a broadcast quality video production studio, with the capability of not only producing television shows on site, but also projecting images on the Hippodrome's massive movie screens for real time video effects.
