DJ Octane will be bringing House and Progressive beats back with my guest this Saturday, DJ Neekola, who is the Friday resident @ K St. Lounge in DC. Re-opened under New management with a hint of DC promotions and promoters. Same great venue. No cover this Saturday. Food and bottle service served.
Per the website: WELCOME Walk through the doors of Xanadu and be taken away to a new world. With it's Miami decor and New York feel, Xanadu is Baltimore's hottest new restaurant and the night club located upstairs that is sure to quickly become the jeweled treasure of Charm City.

it's like... if i were ever to play a place called Xanadu I would have to do it in roller skates...
although given my drunken booth antics... I don't think that would end well.

Funny thing is, after the short-lived Club X's demise, the owners, wanting to reuse all the expensive "X" signs plastered all over the place, had to come up with a club name that started with X.
And I don't think Xylophone, Xenophobe, Xerox, or X-Ray were at the top of their list.

the most awkward part about the set up is that there isn't a good place to put a laptop. i used to put mine under the cdjs, but half the screen was obscured. the cdjs are the best part of the set up, they are real accessable, and the record deck (that you can't see) is pretty convenient. . .

whatever! i still like it though, lol. Looking into this weekend i believe i should rent a traveling nurse with an IV to accompany me this weekend.

looks fine to me but i think i've played on some of the most SHIT setups ever.... in the whole world.
That's not even counting when I had to spin a house party w/ the turntables laying on the floor.
