make sure when you drink the absinthe, that you first go and get absinthe spoons and sugar cubes. you gotta get a huuuuge container of straight ice, and then pour the absinthe over it, then very slowly pour the freezing cold absinthe over the sugar cube which is on the absinthe spoon which is over the mouth of the glass.

if done right, the sugar should melt as you pour, and the glass of absinthe should change from clear to a murky looking green after a few short minutes. this is the only way to consume absinthe....so do it right!!!

You definitely make a good point. The example I used was a throw back to my first time trying the stuff. When your 17 you sometimes have limited resources.
It's not like anything about that NYE party is proper anyways, but when it comes down to it the stuff tastes horrid straight and I'd much rather just drink beer and Sparks.

We nailed Deke with about 20 shots of Jager at a Holloween party not to long ago and almost killed him.

Im considering doing what I normally do for house parties and bringing what would seem to be an endless supply of shots....
