Moby Go! Remix Contest

Beginning December 7, log onto Beatport, the best place for electronic music online, and try your hand at remixing Moby’s ‘Go’. This exclusive contest will include stems from ‘Go’ for budding producers to manipulate into their own unique version of the seminal track. Once completed, remixes can then be uploaded for voting. The winner will receive an incredible deluxe suite courtesy of M-Audio.

Originally released in 1991, ‘Go” has been updated for 2006 with a new mix and compiled with Moby’s greatest hits. The compilation, ‘Go – The Very Best of Moby’ (V2), also includes the infectious new track ‘New York, New York’, featuring Debbie Harry.

Moby sucks.

Next is the E was good though. And he had a remix thing with the 12" of "Feeling So Real" with all the little bits as the last track on the record. That was pretty cool but this beatport thing is lame.

I don't post in here enough but one thing I have to say is. What the mother fucking cunt? (wtmfc). You have to purchase the fucking samples for a mother fucking contest?

I've always hated moby. This just takes the fucking cake. Way to go you piece of shit bastard. That track is well over a decade old you can give the samples out for your stupid contest for free like every other good person in the world.

What a piece of shit. I thought he wasn't going to touch the internet until the rest of the year? Lying bastard.

If you want the samples just fucking get the twin peaks sound track off soulseek or something. Grab the string chords from the theme song.

The rest of the samples from Go suck ass anyway.

That's not the point. He's selling samples for the contest. That is what the problem is.

ps: that really is WHACK to do that by Moby. EVERY single remix contest I've seen, the files are FREE. And yes the song is ancient so it adds to the WTF factor. However, perhaps his label is doing this and its not under his control.

BAHAHAH who would pay $2 for the sample of "YEAH". BAHAHAH

edit: btw the big strings r up on the free link.
