I know I sent out a lot of personal emails and myspace bulletins asking my friends who haven't signed on the board for years to sign on and vote for me, and many of them did. Some of my friends told me that their last visited date when they logged on was from back in 2003 or 2002, and they had over a million new posts. :D And yes, I had a lot of new people sign up for the buzzboard today to vote. That is not against the rules. Not everyone who is going to be coming to the NYE event is going to be an active buzzboard member, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't have any say in who plays.

Anyone who saw my bulletin or blog on myspace today would know that I specifically asked that no one attempt to sign up for multiple accounts just to get in extra votes for me, or anyone else. I am well aware that IP addresses will be checked and those votes will not count.

Yeah so everyone knows I voted for Ian, but I think a few other very talented DJs would have had a chance up against him as well if it wasn't for certain people entering the contest who have no dj skills at all. Just because you know how to spin a record doesn't mean that you should start a popularity contest and take votes from other djs who actually contribute something to the local scene. Hell if anyone that can spin a record had a chance, I should have entered. I know damn well I wouldn't have had many votes but that still would have taken away some from the REAL DJS in the contest.

Randy, you should have alot more votes but they were stolen from you. I don't know how you feel about that, but I would be upset. I'm sure its not anything super important to you being that you played Buzz multiple times before, but its the principle of the thing. Ya know?

why the violence?

Jill is your friend so you stick up for her and that is werd, but what she has contributed to the scene imo is her support of it, not her musical talent. I've never read a flyer that said "Jill T" on it except for that Squirrels Takeover shit. I don't care what Randy is doing or where he will be, but I sure as hell know that he and other people should have more votes than Jill. I thought buzzlife was interested in promoting musical talent not sponsoring a popularity contest.
