Chris Lawrence is by far my favorite progressive DJ. He really is the nicest cat you'll ever meet too, I drunk talked his face off the last time he spun at five and he put up with me. Much props dude, I don't know you but that's huge.

christopher lawrence = progressive dj?

last i checked he was a trance dj.

random shit:

christopher lawrence, if i remember correctly, was the first big dj to play sandstorm around here. i remember nemo and curren bugging out about it the following week at my house looking online for samples because it was the coolest thing they'd ever heard.

Yeah man, I'm really psyched about it. I met Chris when he played at Fur a few months back and he couldn't have been nicer. He got us all in for free, invited me and my friends into the booth with him and had the club provide us all with free drinks. Highlight of the night was when he dropped my remix of 'Fused'. It was pretty surreal.

He kinda goes from proggy, trance and into psy with some tech trance here and there. He kinda goes all over.

you've heard man on the moon - it's one of your favs - it's that one with the hard arpy lead, some 303 bass hits, and the "god said - let there be light" vox...

Seriously, we should come up with some top secret gay trance group and make a bunch of epic cheese hit records, cash out and get a pile of cocaine the size of your mom.

although a couple this years remix's are pretty good, especially the techier versions....

JOOF release dates usually are about 5 days early. That's the date that the files are sent to the download shops, then it usually takes them a few days to get them online. I'd expect them out by Monday of next week.

At the time it came out it was the track to play. Every big DJ was playing it. I know I rocked it when I spun. The sound today is different. The tracks evolve with evolution of new sounds, and newer keyboards, hardware, and software. I think the Jan Driver mix was the best.
