Ahoy there cVa clubbers! SouthCoast Records is pleased to announce our new weekly event, held at Dolce Nightclub in downtown Roanoke VA. It is our singular goal to revive the once-legendary scene in the Star City and bring dance music back to the heights it so richly deserves. So come early (event starts 6pm!) or come late (till 2am every sunday) and enjoy the best progressive house, trance, breaks, and ambient sounds the world has to offer.

Each week, residents are gonna do their thang:
Matti Folks :: dark prgressive evolution and late night madness
Chris Shesko :: sexy breaks and maxim models
Bristol :: starting the night off with some ambient house and chill

...and introducing...

We Hear Light :: live electronic art :: percussion, synths, and a DJ to work the beats :: live, on the fly, spontaneous creation of sound :: cannot be missed :: think Underworld, Way Out West, Boards of Canada, etc...

Some very special guests have been tapped to make each night one to remember. See if you recognize any of these names...

although that meant like 2-3 parties a month, it was still fun

we're gonna make this happen...look out for the headliners starting in december (noel sanger anyone?) and there are still a lot of headz down there. String Theory put 200+ thru the door right across the street from Dolce...so we're pretty confident.

Dude that's cool man. I'm originally from Pulaski, and I was around during the Valley Center days. Notice I didn't say Club Audio, but the Valley Center Thought the club audio days weren't that bad either, but even when Neal started bringing in headliners again such as Icey, Keoki, etc., in my opinion it still didn't compare to the days of the big building.

the club owner wants to start making sunday nights a rival to friday nights. decided we were just the cool dudes to do it! i say, bang the first chick that gets naked, and sunday did. so, we go and make it work... (i miss tim gunn already, sigh)

as for lineups, we have decided as a group not to push the headiners until we are sure the peeps are coming. look out for Noel S late January and then the flood gates are gonna open baby!

noel is a great guy. he lives in charlottesville...works in a studio there and uses it as his base of operations. he's all about getting this sucker poppin with a residency and helping with the big name contacts. great guy!

I wished i still lived around Northern VA ..id most deff hit up parties in Roanoke ...we got the same thing goin on in Cincy ..nothing ..dead ...only Cleveland has the parties =/ good luck with gettin that off the ground ....all i can say is Promote like you never have before ..hit up all the college campus record shops coffee shops EVERYWHERE

well i dont really know roanoke to well but hit up radford and VTech for sure ...on main street in blacksburg theres a buncah shops you could put flyers in im sure there some where in roanoke similar ....Shit just have some one on campuses handing out flyers ...there are deff EDM kids @ VT

...Cincy... intrest is very slim not much for a scene out here ....put this way ..corsten came here few weeks ago it cost $5 bucks to get in ..yea that cheap!! ......pretty small turn out ..... last year Andy Moor ...there was like 15 people there ..no shit .....Thrillseekers same thing 20 people .........part of the problem i Promoting .......if you gonna party u need flyers and u gotta distribute =/
