\\ ARTISTS \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

+ AARON ROBINSON (MIXED SIGNALS, PROTON RADIO)
In today's age of sub-sub-genre formulas, it is rare to find artists who bridge gaps between sounds. Washington, DC based DJ Aaron Robinson is not one for the cookie cutter mold. Drawing from a wide array of musical influences, he deftly crafts sets that walk the line between current styles, pushing the edges of dancefloor sensibility and musical cohesion. Having spent his college years cutting his teeth in the Chicago scene, Aaron is now one of the most polished, experienced young DJ's on the local minimal circuit. You can catch Aaron every third monday of the month at 6pm EST on protonradio.com, where he hosts the popular show "No Soap Radio". Give him a listen -- your ears will thank you later.

+ DJ BEEMA (DRAGONFLY)
DJ Beema spent much of his time belonging to a different culture, one not in the limelight of American society. Reuben is a member of the underground network of electronic dance music DJs and enthusiasts, sharing an affinity and sense of unity with others who share his same interests. On a regular basis these days, Reuben finds himself playing music to crowds at night clubs and bars across D.C., including a recently new residency at Dragonfly. Beema plays each gig with his musical passion at the forefront of his mind, not a dollar sign. Electronic Music to him is life, and without it, life is like a beige wall – empty.

+ WILLBASE (UR BASE IS MINE RECORDINGS)
WillBase's style ranges from tech house to acid house. While living in Harrisonburg, VA he promoted and spun for the infamous Compound Living parties and at Club 216 in Charlottesville, Va. As a producer, he is currently working on his first release for his label UR Base is Mine Recordings. In addition to his profound skills on the decks, Willbase has been an avid musician since childhood playing a multitude of instruments to include guitar, bass, alto sax, and keyboards. This will be his first debut in Washington, DC and he is a welcome addition to the Mixed Signals melange of resident DJ's.

+ DONMINATOR (GET LOOSE CREW)
This electronic music love affair began in the early nineties for Donny. Milwaukee is the city where he was introduced to some of the best Techno artistry at that time. In 94', relocation out west to San Diego brought on a whole new party experience. Vast club scene environments set the stage for some of the best parties America had to offer including desert massives along with old theaters and warehouses in downtown L.A.. Just when the scene proved to create a nationwide synergy on the dance floor, a deeper calling followed. It wouldn't be the first climax of club culture and dance music in the U.S. but seemed to be the last. It was 1999 and another move was eminent, only this time it would be overseas.

The European dance scene far exceeded expectation. Spain welcomed Techno like nothing seen before. There, clubs and parties host the masters of the international Techno scene. This exposure naturally led to the transition from the dance floor speakers to stepping behind the decks. With over five years of music exposure in Europe, living in Spain introduced Techno on a global level which carried him to heightened levels of awareness both mentally and musically. Europe is a second home and proves to behold the last true underground of electronic dance music. With a taste for all styles of Techno, who knows where his sets will take you.

The DonMinator's Bio

This electronic music love affair began in the early nineties for Donny. Milwaukee is the city where he was introduced to some of the best Techno artistry at that time. In 94’, relocation out west to San Diego brought on a whole new party experience. Vast club scene environments set the stage for some of the best parties America had to offer including desert massives along with old theaters and warehouses in downtown L.A. Techno artists would continue to inspire and rock the house not only occasionally in Milwaukee, but more often in countries around the globe. Just when the scene proved to create a nationwide synergy on the dance floor, a deeper calling followed. It wouldn’t be the first climax of club culture and dance music in the U.S. but seemed to be the last. It was 1999 and another move was eminent, only this time it would be overseas.

I'm personally leaning toward a tampon. Some pillow stuffing, white cloth, quick sewing.

I'll probably look like a marshmellow....

after that post, i won't dare to ask again what I should dress as! hahaha

I will only say that if you lot are brave enough to walk into a bar dressed as a tampon or suck my cock breathalyzer - then you can DEFINITELY handle donning a speedo to the FULL MOON PARTY!!!

PS - REALLY prefer your new venue! Its way cooler and more spacious than the old place!

Can't wait til Saturday!!

For those that were'nt at the August party, let's just say that many people thought that Aaron Robinson stole the show that night before it even started. Do not miss this guy playing out in DC, otherwise you are doing yourself a great disservice.

For that matter, you are doing the United States a disservice if you do not attend this party.

Be there. :sombrero:
