Hi guys

So our Dear Old Dad was lurking on the message board the other day, where he passed out in shock at how big some peoples signatures were. After reviving him, he informed us that he wanted all signatures to be disabled, so that the message board was prettier, tidier, and easier to read. (this is the honest truth).

Now before you go tsk tsk'ing and shaking your heads at what tyrants we are, we were able to rescue the beloved signature under 2 conditions:

1. they can not be more than two lines long
2. the signatures must be in the standard size font

I know that this may seem like a silly new rule, but Scott insisted that it would make the threads easier to read since there wouldn't be any long signatures to scroll through.

We are asking all of you to shorten your signatures to two lines by Monday, December 2, 2002. After that, we will have to go in and do it ourselves, which we would rather not do. Please keep in mind that this is in no way a decision that any of the moderators or administrators were involved in. This was a request that Scott made the other day, and we would really love it if you could all humor him, since we're in the season of good tidings and festive jolly stuff. In return, we will try our darndest to make you all proud and happy in the new year.

Shorten your signatures! Scott Henry says so!

Respect,
The Buzz Crew

Amendment to the rule:

The 2 line signature will be based on a 1024 X 768 screen resolution, or not be longer than 280 characters. If your signature is over two lines based on this resolution, you will be asked to shorten your signature.

Thank you.
