Riot Act Entertainment and the historic jazz club, HR 57, have teamed up to bring the best in stand up comedy to DC on Tuesday's. Beginning 9/19/06 with the internationally loved Tony Woods (Comedy Central, HBO), join us every week as we bring you all the areas best comedians and tomorrows megastars.
Tony has performed all over the world, gaining prominence in Europe and Australia while also recently filming his own Comedy Central special and appearing on HBO's "P Diddy's Bad Boys of Comedy". Tony has been featured in over 20 stand up specials, both in North America and overseas. In 2002, he teamed up with Dom Irrera , Sue Murphy and Ari for the World Comedy Tour. Tony has also made numerous appearances on "The Late Show With Conan O'Brien" and Comedy Central.
