not to be negative, but mixes on live5 that are not done live, and are made at home, dont really get my attention...
reason being, i could do the same thing in acid, or abelton, and make a nasty ass mix, with 30-35 tracks in an 80 minute time period, but its not real. i couldnt do it live. so to me its not mixing. only until you could do that live is that then you and, you representing your skill as a dj.
but being a friend of tim, i will check it out.

Not bad at all for a Ableton mix...I was expecting to hear a little more showcasing as to what Ableton is capable of when it comes to mixes (effects, tricks and what not)...nice tracks though. Awesome job.

The mix is a digital mix using Mpfree's arranged using software (Ableton Live5)

Yes and Yes. Being a beatmatching perfectionist is not my priority. If I spun DnB or any other type of EDM or IDM it would be.
help me understand.

Thanks for taking the time and checking it out, it’s really appreciated. I’m fairly new to Ableton and I grew up on turntables and a basic mixer so adding technical digital tricks and effects is a new area for me. There are a couple of loops and edited beats in the mix they are just not that noticeable. Hopefully my future mixes will use Ableton fully and make use of all it has to offer.

Totally understandable; can't wait to hear your future mixes and see how you've grown in utilizing the program. :icecream:
