The Virgin fest is a huge deal in the UK/Europe and this is the first time it will be held in the USA.
The location is Pimlico Raceway in Laurel/Baltimore MD.
These are the three acts confirmed so far based on the following websites:

maybe because a lot of people on this board think trance is lame, and at the same time think the new chilli peppers album eats balls.
maybe there's a correlation.
it is cool tho that we are getting something of this magnitude.

Laurel and Pimlico (Baltimore) are two different tracks.
this is also the same day as the Roger Waters show at Nissan.

I heard tickets are $97.50 plus I'm sure some random assed surcharge. I just got back from All Good Festival and feel like I got ran over by a truck. I doubt I will be there.

Trey and Mike were alright. WEEN played a stellar out of this world version of Transdermal Celebration that had everyone rocking. Black Crowes and Disco Biscuits and Les Claypool were also out of this world. Wow did I need a shower. Holy Fuuuck.

There are abunch of presales going on, most of which have already sold out.

I'm going to this event. and i could give two fucks about the DJ tent.
Just seeing The Who alone is worth the 100 bucks. and seeing The Killers makes it worth about $50 more. but i still got my ticket for under $100.
