absolutely loved seeing everyone out and dancing to Roy and Paul! great time from the time I got there, til the bitter end. I just wished my second wind come alot sooner than it did- heard some great music while I was out in the alley. Nice to see this beautiful venue really live up to it's capacity for a fun time. the only problem is how long this party lasts. showing up at 6 to start drinking is not conducive to sanity at the end of the night, unfortunately, but hanging out late afternoon on the patio was great.

WOW! What a night indeed...
I was so happy to see all the familiar faces & some new ones that I hope to see back at Gallery again. I'm not sure if everyone reallizes how lucky we all are to have been able to be a part of this night - Paul's health has really been a battle in the past couple years. For us to be able to see him perform just days after leaving the hospital was a true blessing. For those that stayed till the end, you probably noticed that we had to stop around 20-30 mins early, Paul was really feeling bad and needed to get back to his room immediately (luckily he is doing ok now).

I must say that the spiritual connection that Paul has with music is something that gives me inspiration with my life. I'm not trying to sound cheesy, but for someone to deal with the health problems that Paul has been faced with and to still be able to to his thing and move the crowd like he did - that is really inspiring. All of us have times in our lives when we start to get upset about dealing with the obstacles that we face...however just being able to wake up every morning and get to the bathroom is a stuggle for many.

Saturday reminded me just how lucky I am to have my health, and to have such wonderful friends. I am so greateful for the night of music and good times, and I can only look forward to the nights ahead of us. I'm sure Roy & especially Paul would love to hear some of your feedback about the evening, maybe you guys could send them a comment or message on Myspace if you feel they did a good job. Seeing Paul's eyes light up when the floor exploded to "Get Get Down" was one of the most intense moments I have ever had on the dancefloor.

THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO MADE THIS NIGHT POSSIBLE... AND THANKS TO HOUSE MUSIC FOR GIVING US SO MANY REASONS TO GET DOWN!

He was feeling much better in the morning when we took him to the airport... seeing all the smiles and hearing just how much people appreciated his being there really did help to boost his spirit, I just pray that Paul's health improves, and hopefully we get the opportunity to bring him back to Gallery again!

Thank you all for making Paul so happy! The next day I picked him up to take him and Roy to the airport and Paul had this grin on his face. It was the "i rocked it last night" grin. To see this man so happy and for him to know that we still appreciate him and his talent, made all the hard work worth it all. thank you all for this special night, you all made it magical!

YES! please keep spreading tha word on just how EASY it is to get to & from Gallery (and to park!) whether you live in B'more, DC, NoVa, MD, wherever! I personally live in Reston, VA. It takes me 15-20 mins to drive to Gallery at night!!! and that includes finding parking right across the street. For those that don't know yet, there is a massive FREE parking lot right across the street from Gallery, just go right through the alley way and it will be directly in front of you. Plus, there is FREE VALET - and I do mean FREE!

The owners of Gallery have tried to make it as easy as possible for everyone to access Gallery, and to make it as affordable as possible as well. For the majority of suburban city-goers, Gallery is much closer & safer than DC... not like I'm trying to discourage peeps from going to the city, I LOVE DC - but lately it has been nice to have one night a week where I can just hang out in Silver Spring, not have to worry about gettin jacked, my car stole, a cop finding out how many tickets I have in DC, etc......

If you haven't come out yet cause you think its too far, send me a PM - and I will arrange some extra incentive for you... no - not hookers - but close.
