A VERY SPECIAL thank you goes out to each and every one of you guys that came out for John Howard last Saturday! What a night!!! I really haven't seen a party with so much positive energy in years.... I hope that doesn't come off as sounding corny, but I am completely serious. Everyone that I saw on Sat was in a good mood - dancin, drinkin, chillin, whatever.... it just seemed like everyone felt comfortable with the way that Gallery was set up. I definitely think that opening up the back alley for people to smoke & hang out was a great idea. Although I wish some of you alley whores would have come inside and danced for a little more than you did! I can't blame you though... it was really nice outside, and you could hear the music just fine out there. For us to be able to pull the crowd that we did on Sat while FIVE had Colette & Heather just down the street - are you kidding me? I'm exstatic about how great everything went!
For anyone that missed this event.... first off, I feel bad for you - but I hope you enjoyed whatever it was that you ended up doing... second, I really hope you come out this Saturday for Toronto's KENNY GLASGOW - things are gonna get pretty nasty once again.... I'm planning on eating a lot of food from now until Sat, so that way I don't start shaking from all of the lost weight (mainly from sweat) Please do yourselves a favor and start planning for July 29th as well - Paul Johnson & Roy Davis Jr don't decide to play a gig in the DC area too often!
