DOORS FROM 10PM UNTIL 2AM (dancing may last until 3am)
DRESS CODE: pajamas encouraged, not required
In 2003, we hosted one of the most successful non-headliner (all locals) events in Pennsylvania. The concept was titled "DJ's In PJ's" and drew a massive crowd through through the doors of the hosting venue. Three years later, we are about bring this tradition back - except at a more intimate setting.
Starting on July 29th, Omega Squad will be featuring a lineup of monthly themed parties with rotating guest dj's and featuring residents ramz & 2rip. Bust out your freshest pair of jammies & be prepared to rockout.
Cafe Japone has agreed to clear a dancefloor for each of these events and you may even notice the DJ booth stationed in some interesting places as well.
Pimpztress Rah 11:45pm - 1am
Rhonda represents house music with amazing flare. Over the last several months she has quickly built up a name for herself in the district and continues to do so as she networks amongst producers & bangs out club after club.
DJ 2rip 1am - close
Chad pushes acid injected melodies along with a blend of funky goodness. He began his job of party promoter in 1998 by throwing parties under the 40th Street Bridge in Pittsburgh, PA and eventually rose to status of Pittsburgh's #1 up & coming talent in the 2002 lolli.org user poll which included 300 dj's spanning from Cleveland to Philly and votes from over 500 users.

Jason's reputaton has solidified in making him one of the most widely respected tribal house artists in the region. This month he has had a booking schedule which includes up to 3 gigs per week at metro area's most well known spots.

I've sent out some invites to a few "groups" which will undubiously attract hot, brazilian women. Maybe a few asians.
Either way, they will be zesty. I recruited them thru some group that holds functions at my hotel. I'm overwhelmed by beauty on a weekly basis and they always seem to be having a good time.

I'm really starting to like throwing this party at Japone... always a good time, always good people...and, well, I'm playing, so always good tunes... :wink: (or am I?)
it's gonna be great once we really establish that there is something going on there (outside of the buzzboard)
dupont circle certainly has it's own kind of culture (aside from being really gay) and i think it's something worth tapping into.
only problem is that previously the promo for that joint was a big slackjob on every promoter's behalf (sorry to diss anyone). not saying that we're the cream of the crop here but i'm dedicated and jason is dedicated, there's no reason that we can't get a nice following after a couple more months.
