I'd really like some feedback on this. Mr. Wickity was kind enough to host my mix for me, so now people can listen.

It's short I know, but still...

I have no affiliations. I'm not showcasing anything in particular. It's the first mix I've ever posted. In fact it's the first Liquid mix I've ever recorded.

Track listing looks good but you gotta come with a few more tunes next time.
Keep practicing, you'll be throwing down 20 tunes in :45 minutes before you know it.

I like letting the song do it's thing. I'm not one for quick swaps just because. I think that I let them run a little out of control ni this one, but not so terrible.

Is it just "the thing" to be able to have a bunch of tracks in a short amount of time, or is there a real reason why people do it that way?

I personally like to try and showcase as many tracks as I can without making things sound too rushed. Some quick mixing can definitely be obnoxious but when DJs know their records and what melodies work togehter etc. it can be a thing of beauty. I generally like to be "in the mix" as much as possible. Whether that's teasing, double dropping, or a quick switch-up it all makes things a bit more interesting for me personally when I'm behind the decks.
