The Young Punx are a pair of underground UK dance producers who, over the past few years, have become a regular fixture on BBC Radio, iTunes, Napster, Mixmag, and dance floors worldwide. They’ve made their name with a series of cheeky and eclectic club tracks taking elements of popular culture and mashing them with pumping house, nu-skool breaks, drum and bass, heavy rock, 80s pop and whatever else takes their fancy.

Playing international DJ gigs all over the world from London to Japan to North America, The Young Punx are renowned for crowd interaction techniques such as playing live wireless rock guitars and weird electronic instruments like Theremins during their DJ sets. Their anarchic remix production approach and innovative performance style has seen them rise to producing for the likes of Ministry of Sound (including performing/producing on Eric Prydz’s mega-smash “Call On Me”), remixing Madonna, and DJing at Radiohead after-parties.

I would expect a very diverse set of uptempo funky house, breakbeats, electro, and even live interaction with the crowd. Read the bio we posted at the beginning of this thread to understand exactly what I am referring to. This 'ish is going to be off the meter. Big up to Tim Sherman @ Club FIVE for supporting my idea on this one!! I have to prove to the club that DC supports the PUNX! Or my azz is grass... :slap:
