April 13th 2006 marks the official opening of a brand new weekly party to be held every Thursday night. Ocean Drive is an already established nightclub in the Silver Spring area with a nice dancefloor, excellent soundsystem, and convenient location (Wheaton metro is across the street).

Pre-Fix will specialize in providing jazzy drum & bass, tech-house, and breakbeat DJ's.

Currently the cover charge is set from $8-10.

Free admission can be obtained through my personal guestlist. Simply PM me with your full name and I will place you on my permanent guestlist.

If you would like to be considered for the Pre-Fix street team, please PM me as well. Be sure to use "Street Team" as the subject heading.

I started this night to support the locals and to give myself something to look forward to when I go to work. I do not want any compensation, that's for the DJs so show some love.

As far as the dnb goes, I'm hoping to really emphasize the "jazz" aspect as much as I can, which is pretty challenging to do coherantly. I'd definitely like to hear feedback whether good or bad, so I hope people can stick around...

anything is possible once you've moved to mp3. for having dj'd for over 8 years one would assume that i have to technical knowledge to play whatever it is that i'm feeling at the time. i wouldn't by any means pigeonhole myself as a "techno dj" but for the most part the last 6 months of my career i've been playing a lot of tech-house, deep techno, and some full on shit.
