A call out to poets/writers!

Dear creative people,

Do you ever have the urge to write a poem and show it to everyone you know? And perhaps you would like other people you don’t know to see your work?

Well your urge is about to be pleased! Fear no more as I can show you how to do this and perhaps even more. So check out http://luism.silver-sphere.net/poetry/poets/ right now and register for your personalized poet account.

Once registered you’ll be able to post, edit, and delete poems with a simple touch of a button. Not only that but you will also be able to interact with other poets on the site by sending them a private message, perhaps to tell them how much you liked their poetry or perhaps you’ll even receive some compliments yourself!


…… okay, that’s cheesy but I wanted to sound.. or try to sound “creative” since this IS the creative corner.. so anyway, check it out you guys, took quiet a while to create that interface but it’s done, so hope to see some of you fine poetry writers sign up and post your poems :D

I write for the corner of insanity in my mind,
That place that still looks for a pen, and yet it's hard to find,
Some means of writing so the insanity can get out,
A dark place, no sound, much fear, without a doubt,
Sometimes I hear others, calling my name,
But soon the sounds fade, and everything remains the same,
I can only hope that I will no longer smell the fear,
Of the insanity trying to get out,

oh come on, i KNOW there are tons of writers here.

I've already got over 10 poets that signed up and tons of people who come out to read them, come support and u can also listen to ur local Dj's under Mixes ;p

my heart skipped a beat again
now you're ready to run away like we were always shown
cuz I guess I couldn't handle it
and you know you'll find me and jimmy by the bridge, still alone


your painted miss kiki is calling again
why can't I be beautiful when I'm underground
this waters so cold cause I'm unlike you
I cant breath, I just cant seem to drown


will you catch me with your white clouds
as I'm falling and you hear me scream
always comforting me in those big purple chairs
so believable here when we bleed


those old streets now lack that certain glitter
pavement missionaries still save the glare
depending on your lemon drops
while all the pretty little girls stare


cuz you know what id do for her to be by my side
he's taking everything that I had
they never warned me the snow was so pretty
or when it turns ice, how incredibly bad


so will you catch me with your white clouds
when you find I've reached the end
earning more scars and lacking pride
learned these wounds can not mend

cool idea if you coould somehow develop some sort of digital publishing rights for the stuff that stands above.....



but NOT one of those contest sites that steals the copyright from the poet.

well its use is simple.. for new, novice or expert poets to show off or promote their poetry... i wouldn't even dream of stealing copyrights from the poet, i specifically say that each entry is created by such author and add an automatic copyright sign © with their name and whatnot... i just want people to have a chance to show off their poetry.. ya know what i'm saaayiiiinnggg?
