It's still not over! This week is week number 4 of a 5 week
"Record Swap" series featuring some of the best talent the DC area has to offer.

Last week was so fun. Special Thanks to Levente, Empath, Logo and JP Gulden...
You all ruled the decks and showed us how the drop should go.

What is a "Record Swap" event you ask?
Well, basically dj 'A' give his records to dj 'B' and vice versa;
then armed with records that do not belong to them the djs man the decks
and rock the place. Simple as that......We Hope :)

sadly, no double drop for me last night... thanks to everyone for coming out, especially Joel and Sally who apparently made the trip just to hang out with me...so sweet of you guys...fo realz... Thanks to Rob, Christian, and Steve for inviting me out to this... it was crazy, crazy fun... Thanks to Shane for letting me drop his sick, sick liquid/drumfunk and for organizing the crate so that it looked like I knew what I was doing... :wink: ...and, thanks to Kira for being so dang cute... :D As hard as it was for me to play dnb coming from my style, I'm betting it was like 10x as hard for Shane to go the other way... I'm betting in his head he was thinking something along the lines of, "Fuuuuuuuuuuck!!!! this is soooooo slooooowwwwww...." :D

Having previewed it yesterday, I can say it's definitely not without a number of pretty glaring flaws, but I'm happy with it considering... I definitely learned not to drop beatless intros, that rewinds sound really, truly gay, and that not every dnb record opens with a full phrase (that fucked me twice...)... Anyway, if Rob gets his ass in gear, you all can glory in my wonderfulness...or something...
