Over the last decade Dj Ink has been producing and djing around the world. squareting out performing on various radio stations in London in the early 90's, Ink has become a force in the DnB industry. Ink has taken his music to all corners of the globe over the past 7 years. With production credits on labels such as Renegade Hardware, Metalheadz and his own label Architecture, amonst others, he has developed and defined his vesitile style. In recent years Dj Ink has been involved in several new projects which continue to push the boundaries of DnB music. With projects like Fifth Element (hip hop/ Drum & Bass) and the infamous Horsemen, Ink is set to showcase more of his unique sound.

I have really been feeling a lot of INK's tunes lately. Every time I have heard him play he has never dissapointed me. Even when one night he played for like 8 people and he still rocked the mixes like it was a Packed venue.

I ish eveeryone involved clould open a Non-Profit venue where during the day you teach teh kids about music production, dancing, lighting and everything to do with music entertainemnt and at night use the venue to have events we want with out the hassel of club owners wanting a frat party everythime you have a event.

I had allot of fun doing the Asylum party. Unfortunately they weren't really into the dnb music.

The loud club, dancefloor atmosphere gets old for me. I think there needs to be more nights where people can go out, chill with a beer and listen to some good music. Lounge style. That's why I dig the Japone Thursdays.

wow.. seriously? i mean, apart from decor, i really thought that place sucked. the management were dicks to us, the sound quality was horrible... really there were very very few redeeming features imo.

well see, i never went there to do anything other than hang out and drink, so alot of those factors never came into play.

never met the managers.....but the bartenders were always pretty cool. my friend boo worked there for awhile. and while the sound might not have been good for dnb i never noticed it sucking. and i listened to it alot, 'cause they would almost always have awesome music playing.

they also have a really awesome menu with A TON of vegan shit on it. everything from blackbean burgers to tofu specials. i remember one time having a tofu scramble there that was amazing.

they also have #9 on tap, and didn't charge us an arm and a leg for irish car bombs.

and yeah, the decor fucking rules.

when james and i lived in adams morgan that was one of the only places that we went regularly.

Its worth it, the music last night was killer!!! Loud upstairs like I couldnt hear myself think but its good that way I think.

Anyway, I think the venue change sorta pooped on this particular event, but that's how it goes. Hopefully in the future a venue contract of some sort will figure into the equation. Also, I think the idea of having headliners go on earlier isn't a bad idea (would have liked to see more than 15 minutes of Ink).

Seriously though, no more parties at SB. That place sucks.

NO, THANK YOU! ;) really though, i had a good time last night. Headhunterz were rocking their own tip and i was diggin' the rough and rugged tunes!

Rohan was very good, good tunes, good mixing, and seemed like a cool guy via a brief conversation. I dig Bassbin tunes anyway. Oh yeah, played Photek's "A Different Thing" (i think it's called): WHOA! never released, that's just great! ;)

It was worth ti to stick around for Ink: Digital tunes, awesome mixing as always, stompin'/ groovin'/ struttin' type of stuff. word.
