ok, this will be the last Lucidstep, and therefore Beat Gallery, party that i am throwing. it has been exactly 2 years since i started throwing these parties and i just have a huge feeling of gratitude and fulfillment. I started this party being new in this country and this city with the mentality of having a space for drinks, good music, and friends. Two years later, after the party went through slight changes and dozens and dozens of guest dj's i can proudly say it happened. I don't have enough words to thank the people that believed on the party and helped me one or another way. From Matt and the Philly crew that were since the first day, to Brad and Samson, and lately Dave and Luke; but in general to everyone that came and had a good time on any give Thursday. When i began this party i was only a househead, completely new to this city. Throughout the months as the party was shaping i became a promoter and a DJ, and thanks to party and the people that supported it, I have been able to do everything I've done, played all the gigs I've played, and met and the people i have. It is that kind of things which make me happy of having taken the decision of throwing that party 2 years ago, when i hardly knew anyone in this town. Now I know it was the right thing. I am moving on and leaving the party behind because i feel it has fulfilled its cycle. It served it purpose and i am truly grateful to everyone that helped. Now it is time to move, to keep working on my music, to keep supporting other parties, to keep going on. Beat Gallery and Lucidstep were just the first step on my path, and I cannot think of a better one.
I want to celebrate the 2 year anniversary of that first party with friends and good music.
It will be the last Lucidstep so i want to make it big and worth it, so it represents the valuable two years that just ended.
