Yo its the entire Wu Tang Clan minus ODB. A Ticket for Ghostface was 20$ by himself

I would spend $50 IF they had a new album together or maybe if I had never seen them.

I just think $50 is a bit steep.

Took my 50 bought a RJD2 ticket and dinner/drinks for the night.

a fuckin' retard?

Just because it's an ODB tribute does not take away from the fact that it costs $50 or $60 with all the fees and shit.

To some of us, it's not worth it. Even to a diehard wu tang fan.

Just so everyone knows you can avoid fees and surcharges for Sonar by buying tickets at the Sonar or 930 club box office.

You can't claim you're a die hard Wu Fan and say $50 is not worth it. They haven't toured since '96 when they did the tour with Rage Against the Machine. This show is going to have a 2 hour performance.

Just because I am on a budget doesn't invalidate my feelings for their music.

LOL!

Yes I want to spend $50+ to see a group of men waving sweat towels spitting the same shit from 97, dealing with a bunch of drunk suburban frat boys who bum rush the Ecko outlets thinking MTV thoughts of gangsterisms (only fuckin retards can make up new words) cause they pump Wu.

Thanks but no thanks....music evolution my friend.

and it's not even the same shit from 1997, it's not nearly as good.

I've seen paying to see individual members of Wu tang for several years now and with the exception of the GZA show at sonar last year I was dissapointed nearly every time.

People who talk badly about Hip-Hop shows in general are all not fans of the group on stage; they are just there because they think it's a cool thing to do! I went to one of Wu Tang's first shows in Bmore @ the Palladium in 94, they cut the music off after 2 songs because of a massive fight with one of there entourage. It was 94 man; it was hip-hop, it was fun as hell! I love Wu because of the statement they made to the world @ the end of 36 Chambers. They told us all they were in this for the long haul, to give a business (franchise) to there children. In 2006 they are all still touring, I think it's great. I wonder if people would call for music progression for other older touring groups whose t-shirts have become so popular once again. If you like Wu go; if you don't, stay home or spend fifty bucks on something. $50.00 is my average bar tab and I'm poor as Sh........

My thoughts on this show: $50 is way too much. Wu-tang is tryin to make the bling bling, and there's no denying that's what they are about. Calling it an ODB tribute doesn't make it worth $50. They're not using that money for some ODB charity fund.
Don't get me wrong, I love hip hop. I love Wu-tang. They're not on my top of the hiphop list, but they're up there... however, the main talent of the group was method man and redman. ODB had some hits which is cool also... but the wutang now... i dunno.... method is still there, cool. I like RZA and GZA. Raekwon is aight also. .... but come on $50..... they're tryin to make bank.

That Jan 7th show looks cool.

Redman is not a member of the Wu-tang clan .
ODB was a genius.......and it's his tribute concert so shut the fuck up about bling bling

has anyone heard the single that ODB and Macy Gray cut before he died?

my ears literally bled

it was the worst collaboration I have ever heard in the history of music, I can only guess that someone thought it would be a great joke to actually make that record.

From tittsworth.com

Remember the magic of 36 chambers? Or the brilliance of Liquid Swords? The grit of an early RZA beat or an Old Dirty hook? The off center genius of Ghostface? Wu once meant something magical and let's face it, this may be your last opportunity to experience all remaining members of arguably one of the best collectives in hip-hop history!! I have a feeling that gathering these greats back on stage could mean nothing but good things!!

$50 ticket price, but divided by 8 core members, that's a little over $6 a piece w/ Cappa, Streetlife and Mathematics thrown in as a hell of a bonus.. plus yo boy Tittsworth keepin it hot on the wheels of steel this very night!!

I suggest getting your ticket reserved NOW as this rare opportunity could likely reach capacity

yo!!! quit crying me a river over $50 dollors yea i feel the budget thing! but it is the wu plain and simple. yea so what if they r there to make money it is a bussiness and hum last time i looked in order to keep it going you gotta have that game going. second If they didn't love what they where doing they would've in my humble opion got out of it along time ago. but if you look at some of the places they go as individuals sry bout spelling!!! it shows it isint all bout the money... my point is is if you r not tring to see them then why bitch bout the price of a ticket. would you hessitate paying $50 dollors to see your mos fav artist preform?
