I do this every week - you get used to it...

Interesting story - so I am negotiating my schedule for my new job and tell them that I am going to be late every Thursday and they ask why. So, in the interest of not giving some bullshit story - I told them that I help run a party at a bar and have to setup and breakdown and don't feel like working on five hours of sleep while being hungover. The two guys looked at me and said, and I quote: "That's cool, so where is the party?"

I was expecting an entirely different answer...

Open to close is great during the summer. I just wish I could do it more often. Sadly, I can't work on 3-4 hours of sleep, especially when it requires responsibility for a bunch of rugrats. Is it summer again yet?

As most of you know I am an FSU alum and was at home watching the game last night.

I got so pissed after the last missed kick that I bit down hard on an almond in my mouth and cracked the filling/sealer on my molar.

So I spent all morning at the dentist getting my tooth fixed...so, I will likely be grumpy and in a lot of pain this evening. What's worse is I can not drink much because my lip is swelled and the liquid is just way too painful.

I can't remember the last time we had a groove like that - it was on point from start to finish. Some weeks we'll hit a low in the middle of the night and people start to dip out or filter to the other side of the bar - not last night!!!! You know people are having a good time when you see David there late knowing he has to be up bright and early to deal with his students.

Well it helped that the game was on and I was going to stay up watching the end of it regardless of where I was. (And what a fabulous ending to that game after the disappointment of the night before!) I figured I might as well spend the majority of the time listening to good music with friends...and good music it was last night. I especially enjoyed Greg's set, but you all know me with the liking of the loud trancey stuff.

I might actually get my pics up this week, but tonight I have to bowl for my dad since he's out of town. Weeeeee!

last night was a lot of fun! it was great seein everyone... some of which I had not seen in a long while.

glad to hear people enjoyed my set... I fucked up a few times, but as long as you all dug it, then I am happy. It was actually a lot of fun to play with some of my old epic and mellow-acid trance records again during the first half of my set.

Everyone else I heard play was great... def some nice tunes throughout the night. Wish I could've heard Bryant's set... but &rew and I had to dip.
