i have a lot of great pics from the blizzard of 96, and i also have a lot of great snow pics from my trip to moscow and st petersburg in december of 1998... alas, none of those were taken from a digital camera and i severely lack the motivation to get them posted here.

Hmmm, might be a good point. Most people in clubs who tell me they like it tend to be intoxicated. Good to hear sober opinion. Got any recommendations on what might be better?

As for a gallery trip, you mean like getting some buzz board members together to go to an art gallery down on the mall or something? Sounds like a good idea to do, especially in the winter when there are less tourists to get in the way. If anyone else is reading this thread, got any input on this?

i'd be all about a trip to the mall. i'm due for one, actually. the last time i went was to see the dan flavin flourescent light art exhibit - i think at the hirschorn but maybe it was the national gallery - whatever - last year. i'll check around the current exhibitions pages and we'll do something. there are some decent restaurants down there, too, like the chophouse. i have a bunch of pics i took a couple years ago at and of the museums but they're on 35mm. i did a kiosk-type interactive design featuring dc museums on the mall.

I get mine printed at http://www.gotprint.com. It's $10 for 250. Pretty easy to do, just upload the image and they print it out and mail it to you automatically. The difficult part is just creating a design that looks good as a business card.
