:help:

Simple shoot, it will only take about 20 minutes.

I need someone that's NOT camera shy obviously, lives in the Baltimore/Annapolis area, needing someone with slim figure, attractive face and (pref.) dark hair, Male or Female and has a half hour to blow on Thursday afternoon. I will come to you.

Also, if anyone knows someone that does ballet (Reg. or Pointe), can you send them my way?

I'm slim with dark hair... the attractive part is arguable, hehe

I think I would be a pretty good hand model.

you could hire someone, but i'm sure to get them to blow on thursday, that would cost substantially more.

This is a serious question--what would you do if you found someone on Craig's List who says they are attractive, but when you met up with them, they really weren't? How do you let a person down like that? Or do you just do the shoot, waste the film, and do another shoot with someone else? I would do the latter--I have a hard time hurting people's feelings.

Simply put, I never find models on Craigs List. Better to try portfolio sites like www.onemodelplace.com and www.modelmayhem.com where you can see what the model looks like.

Tell them nicely they don't have the look you are going for?

If I were a different person I would say that. Sadly, I'm a big fat wussy that doesn't like to hurt ppl's feelings either.

Not to call you a wussy. Crap did I offend you? Shit, there's an ironic post for ya.

Not offended by the wussy comment. However, you also called me fat....just kidding! I know what you mean. I can't bring myself to intentionally hurt someone's feelings. I don't think that makes us wussies....I think it makes us compassionate and considerate. How's that for spin?

I think Hottie McHotface should model athletic gear.

This girl looks like she fits the description:

Of course, Emily needs someone for tomorrow afternoon and I doubt she's planning to pay a lot. Emily, I don't meet most of your criteria and I'm not usually photogenic, but I could probably swing something for early evening if you still need someone.

Yeah, I'm not looking for professionals, I'm a po' student.

It looks like I'll be catch up with James for a bit, but Jami, if you have a bit I can always use an extra roll of film since I need a well rounded project to turn in to make sure I get an A in the course. You're DEFINITELY photogenic, so hush up. You'll look fabulous in B/W :D

What time-ish is good? I have a shoot in Laurel at a dance studio at 6:30 on Thursday....

if you look at the models on Model Mayhem you can ask most of them for a TFP shoot. just burn on a cd their pictures and they let you do a photoshoot of them for free.

TFP = Time for Print or CD

The only thing on my schedule for tomorrow evening is possible cookie baking. I usually get off of work around 4, but I think tomorrow will be weather dependent. Just give me a call if you need me and we'll work something out.

If I was working with digital, that would be an option. This is film work, and scanned in BW's don't look great without a good bit of editing. At least with my scanner - and I don't have time for that right now.

For stuff like this it's best to rely on friends and people you know. Models working TFP only can be pretty flaky and are not always be helpful in getting what you need.

BPMninja

This spring when things calm down a bit, I'll get a bit more into doing non-assigned work like TFP's. Mostly because I'll have digital to work with.

I can't wait to develop tomorrow. :badkitty:

La Mason De La Danse and James are my heros.

More so James though, he stood in the crappy weather to do this, while those spoiled little dancers stayed in the heat.
