These are photos in the Library of Congress, and they are actually color photos from the late 1930s to the mid-1940s. It's really cool because we are so used to seeing this era in black and white--on film, in photos, etc., and it's just weird to see it like it actually looked. Anyway, enjoy--this is the subject index (there are 1600 color photographs, and they are separated by subject).

...actually, I found it on CNN.com...but I think it was a TIME piece. So yeah, I guess I did!

Wow. I officially love these sites. I can't wait to take history courses on Photography, it's so fascinating to see how we've come over the years with cameras and film quality.

Although, with some of these, they look just as good as some modern photography. :affection:

If this is on exhibit, I must see. MUST.
