Last night I was shooting in the studio and noticed this big spot coming out on the pictures. You can see it to the left of the models head in the picture below. I think I got it from the night before when I was taking pictures of Rabbit In The Moon because some drunk fool spilled a drink right on top of my camera. Dust is not a big deal to clean but that sticky stuff is never fun to get off the sensor. I hope that drink didn't mess up anything else on my camera.

What kind of cleaning stuff do you use?

The liquid droplets are supposed to be good for that.

I never had to use anything before. I use Olympus cameras which have a sonic filter that shakes dust off so they don't have to be cleaned. Doesn't help for sticky drinks though. I'm reading up today on a good way to clean it.

Do you use a UV filter?

No, but those are to protect the lens. My camera got drowned by an alchoholic beverage of some kind and a little bit seeped into the camera body and on the sensor itself. Thats a lot more annoying to clean than a lens because it's a lot more sensitive.

ahhh, ok. I misread on what actually had the spotting. My UV filter has been great for catching spots, and I'm ALWAYS paranoid about dropping it.

With the sensor, you MAY want to take it into the shop for them to fix, you don't want to accidentally break that (dependent upon how your warranty is).

Looks good, you definitely want to keep things compact in a club. Just keep your eye out for people with full drinks and bad footing.

Not to take away or change from this thread. Because I do appreciate all the pics you take at the different venues. But...... that girl is pretty hot
