Pretty cool to have a creative forum now. I might post up any non-club pics every once in a while for some constructive criticism.
Here are new pictures from a photo shoot I had with Rae in Adam's Morgan:

I saw some of your photos on your site the other day. I think your composition is good. What I think your photos lack is a live sense of color. I think in the third photo in this post you on purpose remove some color and I think it works. But in general, most of your photos were not rich in color. I thought it's your lighting or maybe its your lens. I don't really know because all I've ever done is black and white dark room stuff. I think you are doing digital and I don't know how to address problems that come with digital photography.

The first picture doesn't really pop, I agree. Too much incidental information. It may have been better if the model had been placed in a color sweater that didn't get so washed out with the pale blue wall. Second pic is a similar situation but more so with the pants, you lose the model in the wall. Her shirt color changing up in the 3rd pic is why that one seems to pop more, she stands out as the target subject of the picture. I really like the last picture, especially with the play on the F-Stop for the blurred background, really brings the model out.
What kind of camera are you using?

Damn I forgot to talk to you about my shoot again. Find me at Buzz before I'm trashed. LOL!!! Or we should just set up a civilized meeting like professional people do. LOL

Thank you! :D
I definitely agree that the pictures of Rae could be better. We only shot for like 15 minutes though and weren't really taking it seriously so it's not too bad given the circumstances. I posted them up because it was something recent and Rae is a regular at Cubik.

No problem. :D
I really do like them, they just need to pop more. Photographing with Graffitti as the background is *really* tricky since it demands so much attention.

I really like the composition of this shot a lot.
My favorite out of this batch.
However, I must agree with the other comments...the colors need to pop out more.
This particular shot is better than the others in that regard, but you could probably go a bit further with this one by taking it into Photoshop, and really punching the blues, while downplaying the color of the background a bit more.
