This week at Mondays @ Japone we welcome out a DJ that needs no intro, DAVE CORTEX. Known up and down the east coast for that Funky House sound we all love, he is sure to set Japone off proper.

Also, behind the decks we have NIKO making a appearance in the states from Greece spinning the best funky house, tech house, and techno that Europe has to offer, Niko is always a treat for the ears.

Dave Cortex - 9pm - 10:30
Niko - 10:30pm - Close


Monday's @ Japone is the best place to unwind after that first day back on the weekday grind. Serving up some of the best Japaneese and French cusine DC has to offer, Japone is quickly become the "IT" spot in Dupont and now with live dj's 7 nights a week it is sure to be an "IT" spot for all of DC.

Of all the small lounges in DC, Japone has to be my favorite.

The underwater decor is always a treat for the eyes. I ate dinner there for the first time over the weekend and the food was spectacular (although a little pricey).

I'm looking forward to tonight for sure. I'm hoping the parking situation will be a little more forgiving since it's Monday :-)
