Got some new wax, so I figured I'd throw down a new set and see what everyone thinks of it. Feedback is greatly appreciated.

actually both. the whole set won't fit on one CD but i can listen to it on my comp. but i could stick the random mashup on some mix.

you'll probably have to remind me the next time you're up here...since I don't have internet at home and whatnot.

ok, just finished listening. it was playing it in my headphones as i was playing on teh intarwebnetpagesitethingy.

i enjoyed it. if i didnt know better i would think you had been spinning longer.
i was pleased at how well it seemed to flow. since you havent gotten to pick out a bunch of your own records, that surprised me a bit.
i find when you are working from a fairly small selection of tunes you've gotten to pick it can be hard to keep a good flow going, but you didn't seem to have trouble with that in this mix.
only problems i noticed were places where the beats slipped a little, which is understandable, and some spots where i can hear you adjusting the speed of the new tune coming into the mix.
all in all pretty good mix, has some "fun" tunes without losing it's edge, and the track selection was bangin.

looking forward to the next time we get to tag bro.

yeah, when 2 tracks have ambient sounds, it's hard to adjust tempo and not have it be easily noticable...I'd say i'm definitely better at that than the last time I posted a mix on here though

thanks for the review :hifive:

You're definitely improving a whole lot, and you're starting to find your "sound" now that you're buying your own records. There are some sloppy mixes in there, but also a few damn impressive ones. Overall quite enjoyable, and better than a lot of sets I've heard from people who have been spinning twice as long. Keep up the good work man.

edit: one thing I noticed that bothered me is that you use this one trick too often where you cut the sound of one record while the other one is starting to come in. It's not a bad trick to use, but you used it way too much at the beginning of the mix.
