Technically this is a great mix. Spot on and I didn't hear anything slip and the EQing was great.

Down side, florida *yetch* Yeah there's some tracks on there that I enjoy but I really can't get into that sound at all. things are a little different in the break world out west, and that's what got me to start listening to breaks and going to breaks parties.

Other than track selection it's a great mix Peter. I just can't get into that.

I actually really liked this mix. I hated many of the tracks, but the shit was hoppin. Sounds like you're at a party and not in a "box".

My favorite part was probably the DNB jam in the middle. Nice.

here's my review of this cd -

while i know it's hard to top his last mix, i think this mix is just as good, but just different. i like the way it flows from the first tune to the second one, and i think the second one (tech e) is the perfect second song. the way it keeps the energy flowing, and the vocal that says "when the music starts" is PERFECT. the 4th song i like too. it's dylan rhymes i'm assuming, and i like the fact that it's near the beginning of the cd, cuz it just screams party. plus it's a remix of cls's "can you feel it", which is one of my favorite house tunes ever.

and the prodigy shit...i think is genius as fuck. my only issue is the way he brings in the original, but it comes out of left field so much that i think it is ok. plus im sure it's only my neurotic ass that thinks this. and then into the dnb mix...DAMN. shit is fuckin DOPE!!

and the mix out of the dnb into clubstar is great. clubstar is such a bangin wobbly breaks tune that it sounds perfect coming out of dnb.

and what can i say about blast the speakers...that shit is a lantern anthem if i ever heard one.

i like the way it ends with the remix of both knees too...that tune, (wheather the breakfastaz originally planned it like this or not) is great for closing with. the way the bassline flows, it can either sound like shit is winding down, or just bangin it out.

I just got finished listing to the entire CD. Excellent mixing all around and nice energy throughout the entire CD. I'm not a big fan of nu-skool breaks or of newer prodigy stuff but it is still an excellent CD.

ok...I have listened to Mr. Lanterns new CD more than once....at first listen it just wasn't my "cup of tea." The more and more I listen to this CD, the more and more I appreciate what he has done. First, besides being a stand up guy, Peter is one of the most solid "mixing Deejay's" I have ever encountered. He is, IMO, 8, 345, 456 times better live than any CD he can ever produce. His sets are always fun, energetic, and most importantly will get your ass on the dance floor.

Mad props my friend for (1) A flawless set of what you love (2) and just being you. Just keep doing what you do best and bring that shit.....

Great CD Mr. Lantern. You get mad :respekt: from me, especially for putting track # 9 on your CD and for being one of my favorite Dj's in this metro area hands down :toofless:
