I played in Reston a couple years back the headz that showed seemed to be into it. Granted they were kinda taken by surprise but after the initial shock of it they seemed to dig it.

No.
A drumcore/breakcore/whatever it's called song is 'ok' once in a blue moon though, if it's quality ish.

One of my good friends is from Reston. He loves pretty much all of the music, including gabber, and he goes to all shows he can. He was prolly at yours, and prolly danced the night away.

When I do play the two together it's usually more dnb/jungle than hardcore. BUT not happy hardcore. I hate that isht. I like stuff by Neophyte, mastersquabbler, ect.

There is a small amount of hardcore that I can get into (I have some old trancecore mixes that are good, and I remember liking some Rotterdam stuff), but I definitely don't like hearing it at a club. Breakcore and stuff like that, a la Ventian Snares, I am more into, and I dig that at raves sometimes, but even that gets old pretty fast, I just prefer music that I can groove to.
I can't see myself ever hanging out at any club where hardcore would really seem appropriate, if you know what I mean. Not to diss it, I just go for that laid back atmosphere.

"Down Here"? That's a rather harsh thing to say isn't it? Maybe a few styles have come out of Florida that YOU don't like but we have set the pace of a LOT of styles that a lot of headz gruv to. You shouldn't try to diss. Especially when you haven't test tasted all the flava'z.

BTW, I hate Florida breakz but there are a lot of headz making some $$$ from that gay azz isht.
The way I play bounces from jungle/dnb to hardcore to ragga to hiphop so if you haven't heard then just ask. It's all in the skillz!
