Did anyone check this out? I did. It was a good show. Rob Hall played some awesome breaks. Most of SND's stuff was not my cup of tea, though some was OK. Autechre was pretty damn good. I enjoyed the middle part of their set best, when they had a bunch of atmospheric washes layered over their staccato beats. The last part of their set was more stripped down and not as good for me.

Anyway, it was cool to see these guys in B'more and drink tasty Sonar drinks. :yes:

I was there. It was a good night I thought. I really dug Rob Hall. Crunching driving beats, that still had that IDM/experimental aspect to it. Great stuff. SND was a little abstract & unstructured for me on that particular night. Autechre were great!! They weren't all minimal & droney linke a few years ago @ 930 Club. Autechre played a great long set.
The turnout really surprised me, way more peeps then I expected. Alright Warp & Autechre.

sadly I couldnt go to this... and i missed their show in DC..

a buddy of mine who LOVES Autechre and went to both shows said the one at Sonar was better
