Yeah i had one and I sold it....
I liked it but there are better interfaces out there.
It depends on if you have the loot or not....what I would do if I were you is this...
Find the lowest price online....then take that price into guitar center....and they will match the price you found online...
I got my Emu Proteus PK 6 like this
They were pissed...the GC sticker on it was 1100 and I got it for 400...LOL

I think I'm going to order the Motu 828mk2 tonight. Might also order a new computer also.. Getting fed up with my inability to run retarded amounts of VSTi's

They say Hammerfall or something is very good sound interface. I use an Emu 1820m and I am happy with it. It is designed to have hardware accelerated effects. And the software patchbay thing makes an external mixer almost redundant. With an additional ADAT bridge you've for a decent amount of ins/outs. PC-only though.

I would be curious to know what will come of the protools/m-audio marriage. You can run some protools on m-audio hardware, but it's the older hardware that is still kind of crap.

Good luck with your purchases. Where do you get the money for all of this?!
