I had tons of fun. I think the music made my illness go away because as soon as the music started, I didn't feel bad any more. The mixing was smooth all night (with the occasional skips from people banging on the booth or jumping in inconvenient spots on the floor). There was a very interesting mix of people who showed up, but the vibe was great. And I absolutely loved ending the night with the Cheers theme for those of us who made it all the way to the end. There's just nothing like standing around and belting out that chorus with a group of friends, new and old. So thank you GIVE!

On a side note, as soon as I move into my new place next weekend and get my ethernet up and running, I'll get the pictures up. If anyone is absolutely dying to see them and has a computer and ethernet they want to let me borrow at some point this week, I could do it sooner. (Dial up at the rents' = no way in hell I'm uploading pics, and I can't really do it at school too easily.)

As I've said about 16 times in 3 different threads, my pics will be up as soon as I get access to the ethernet again with a computer that I won't be fired for using in a non-work-related setting. Either that, or I'll just hook up my camera to this computer after school today and get everything uploaded, and just risk the wrath of my tech people here at school. I think I have my connector cable and camera out in my car, so it might happen. If not, then I'll definitely have them up by Sunday as long as all goes well with my move on Saturday and I can get the cable people in on Saturday, too.

the cd's kept me occupied on my way into and back out of dc for my interview yesterday. i forsee going through a hell of a lot of cd's this summer as i commute at least an hour each way now EVERY day... (yeah i know, i'm sure a lot of you have worse commutes and have been doing it much longer...)
