werd to binge drinking. i cant wait to catch a lil piece of all the music being offered firelight has really made an effort,(a VERY conscious one), to cater to everyones musical tastes, whatever they may be.

about the flyer

maybe i read into this a lil deeper than anyone.
BUT here are some thoughts

Significance

The wide open field (those of you who were at the first one know what the landscape is like at this place)

Alice- everyone there was in for one hell of a musical journey into very strange terrtory.

The caterpillar- Brian, offered us some insight on the way HE thinks a party should be ran(thanks)

the pills- Alices journey started with a pill. in this case it is not a physical pill that you will take, but instead you will take this pill aurally. the music will show you just how deep this rabbit hole really goes.

The alice in wonderland concept- Alice is a fairy tale, much like the scene that we all wish for (you know the one from back in the day that we constantly wish for), Castaway in itself is a fairy tale because i think it truly captures the feelings/vibes of a scene that seems almost unattainable with the way things are today.

maybe im corny, but these are things that kind of jumped out at me.

I have a question about comps...I know the DJs get 2 each, but my question is what about the people who are helping set stuff up? Because I'm planning on caravaning down with some peeps who are spinnin in the trance/psytrance area and helping them set their stuff up.

I'm NOT asking for 2 comps for myself of course, but I'm just wondering if I still need to use someone else's to get in free. If so, that's fine. yeah, i remember going to this outdoor party in WV a couple of years ago, that got shut down before it ever started, so everybody was congregating at the closest thing to where the party was, which was this sheetz gas station.

when i was there the parking lot was FULL of ravers just hanging out and being stoopid (me included) and soon the one clerk that was inside came out and started screaming about how the cops were on their way, so this one random person was just like "follow me!!!" and we all jumped in our cars and followed them to this big dirt field in scaggsville VA,with nothing in it but a big ass silo.

anyways, talked to a couple of other people that were at the gas station at different times and reported the same hectic scene....always ending with the one guy freaking out and saying the cops were coming.

i really feel bad for that guy. can you imagine working the late shift at a gas station in the middle of bumfuck WV, where you usually don't even see 10 people on your whole shift, and then one night HUNDREDS of fucked up ravers start showing up by the carfull?? :scared:

I know the DJ booths are top of the line (Pioneer 600's / 1200's), I know there is a full system in each tent, but I am not sure exactly what brands and all. Main stage will also have CDJ's and all... I am sure it will be good.

I know the DJ booths are top of the line (Pioneer 600's / 1200's), I know there is a full system in each tent, but I am not sure exactly what brands and all. Main stage will also have CDJ's and all... I am sure it will be good.
