no amen allowed, huh? shit that makes it tough.....Amen is THE break as far as I'm concerned, but there are a couple others i dig:
- "Think" - love the way it just snaps back into place -- tons of examples (Dylan - "Think", JuJu - "Nice Time")
- "Assembly Line" - so fucking grimey/industrial...used to be a Cylon staple.
- whatever break it was Jonny L used in "Hurt U So"...classic hardcore break, but i think it's a combination of "Think" and something else.

The amen break is one of the foundations of Drum N Bass w/ out amen, no drummie bassie.
Amen is still my fave.

yea too many people love the amen so you cant use it, or the whole thread would be nothing but "amen brother"

coming from baltimore city and growing up on baltimore club music (among other things), i am quite partial to the Think break
i also love the Apache, and the Blowfly 'Sesame Street' break (AKA the helicopter break) is the shit as well, but my fav to hear in dnb is probably the Kurtis Blow break (AKA the Circles/Horizons break)
Wax Doctor used to kill it with that one in mid 90s - Cakes, remember that Unit 1 record on Creative Wax?
