neurotica is back! committed is the sequal to the recently defunct padded room weekly, to be held on the third saturday of every month (4th saturday on 5 saturday months) at the thai curry house. we ended the padded room to make way for the amazing new THERAPY weekly on fridays at bojangles in richmond, but we're back to bring you a rocking saturday every month with top quality djs from va and beyond. at the inaugaral COMMITTED we are proud to present the www.boogieburg.com takeover with some of the finest talent from blacksburg, va. without further adieu...

DJ ECLECTIC helped to put the Blacksburg party scene on the map. His lounge affair parties were always full to overflowing and became a must play event for many top level djs and groups in the area including Tortured Soul, ECB, Slant, Lexus King, and many more. He is one of Blacksburgs most popular djs and has played at events all over VA, DC, and the East Coast. He is a wizard on the turntables, incorporating beat juggling, scratching, and various tricks into his set. He dropped a serious dnb set at the padded room last fall, so don't miss him this time!

Get ready for a high energy set full of funk as Blacksburg's current funk mastermind returns to Richmond. John currently promotes several popular parties in Blacksburg, as well as hosting the friday night radio show RPM along with Kleva Hed on Virginia Tech's student run radio station WUVT 90.7FM. John has played all over VA, DC, and MD, solo, and along with our other headliner ECLECTIC as Spark Arrester (including the padded room a year ago), creating downtempo, funk, hip hop, and turntablist mayhem on 4 turntables.

Ben will be making his debut performance in Richmond, opening the night with a suave mix of loungey beats to build the night's groove. He is also a member of the duo Binary Dialect with Skwash.

Curt will be closing out the night with his debut drum and bass set! Expect some deep jazzy dnb funk and spaced out intelligent grooves.
