Just had a chance to listen to this mix........FRIGGIN AWESOME!!! Mixes were flawless, very well mastered, and very energenic!! This mix is really well thought out...just not thrown togethers. Tracks have a an old skool feel....what more can I say....Keep up the good woik and quailty<--which is what I really enjoyed.

Just had a chance to listen to this mix........FRIGGIN AWESOME!!! Mixes were flawless, very well mastered, and very energenic!! This mix is really well thought out...just not thrown togethers. Thanks Steve. I really appreciate the honest feedback and I am really glad you like it. All the credit for the mastering goes to my boy Rob (Dj Rob P). He spent a while mastering it, but he did do a great job!!!

I know why the mixes are flawless
but I have to agree def good track selection, some phrasing not so much but programmed well
its still in my rotation

I know why the mixes are flawless
but I have to agree def good track selection, some phrasing not so much but programmed well

I thought this was a pretty good mix. Nice and funky, and I gotta admit I was bobbin my head when you switched over to house. Lot of good tracks are in there, I noticed more than a few soul of man tracks although not exactly sure how many.
Only criticism is that there weren't any mixes that made me go "Hot damn that's badass", they seemed like they were more to just transition from song to song.

is there a chapter in the cubase manual about how to make hot mixes?
