…In 1996 Washington D.C. was introduced to its first weekly Jungle / Drum&Bass party…. Wild Things. Its was a good start. Respect.

…In 1999 the District Junglist League started the now legendary Sunday Night Sessions weekly Jungle / Drum & Bass party. DJL & SNS reshaped the boring, alienating image of D.C. Drum & Bass while introducing D.C. to World of new Jungle/DnB talent… as well as introduced the World to the new D.C. Jungle/Drum & Bass/ Hipstep scene.

….Now in 2005, its time for the D.C./U.S./World Drum & Bass scene to evolve once again. We are very proud to invite you to …..

In typical Junglist League fashion you can expect nothing but the best Jungle / Drum & Bass djs and producers performing at Hipstep 3000 in the upcoming months. Ackshun Jackson & Audiotroopa, two of the strongest, longest lasting junglist in the U.S. scene will be the weekly resident djs.

to be grown up i have to wear slacks & dress shoes when i go out to hear drum&bass?

i used to hit sessions every sunday. from when it 1st started in '99, up until 2000/2001 (one of the last parties i went to was when fierce played @ that place near ben's chili bowl)... and if u ask me, being able to wear what you want is part of the overall atmosphere/comfort level. especially if you want to dance.

props for bringing dnb to a venue where it's never been featured (and getting keaton no less).

Well like I said...change is good. Don't hate till you try it. I know a lot of people that are tired of coming out of the club smelling like shit and really don't go out anymore because of that. Dressing up every now and then isn't bad at all. I know plenty of people that wouldn't mind dressing casual (I'm not saying to be all TUXED out)....But ya know not everyone is the same. Its really all about the music...

and thanks for the props...I'm sure this will introduce DnB to those who have never heard it :)
