as for vocal, the definition can vary depending on who you talk too... and how much they like or dislike vocals. for me, vocal house refers more to the garage sound; full on lyrics composed in traditional song structure with very powerful vocalist singing (think diva vocals/disco sound).

I think I'm getting to old for sub genres...Living in the Break Beat Captial (FLA-Orlando) ANY HOUSE is GREAT HOUSE...It all depends on the mood. I love that progressive stuff my Boy Andy Hughe's spins, but I also Can't wait til Kaskade's Show This friday. House just kicks ass, no matter what kind. =)
