View Full Version : DJ Media/Bio Resource
I know most of ya'll have websites of your own, but I'm putting together a system on the ramZvents that will allow DJs the ability to host demo/studio mixes and original productions for downloading/streaming. In addition, I'm thinking it would be a good place to host headshots and biographical information. In any case, I'm telling you guys this for two reasons:
1. I wanted gauge the interest in this. I know I'll have at least a few DJs that I have to build this for anyway, but can expedite its development based upon demand from others outside the crew, etc.
2. I was hoping I could get the help of a good PHP coder that can help me polish and converge some existing modules that are out there that accomplish one or more of the functions listed individually, but don't quite cover the gamut.

i was looking for a host for my demo...which i really wish i coulda got to you friday :(
i left them on the bar and didnt pick them back up :(

ok so what i think would really help the site out and make it stand out from the crowd would be for you to get somebody on there to help the artists write their bio/profile, and make it sound as cool as yours, jason. seriously, every time i try to do one of these bio things, i'm never quite sure how i should word it.

I don't see me plunking out a bunch of these bio things for everyone on the site, but essentially, the formula is:
1. what you do
2. where you come from (musically)
3. what you've done
Sell yourself without getting too crazy over-the-top and you're in business... It literally took me about 30 minutes to put mine together, though I have make several refinements over the course of the last several minutes. I'm sure you can throw something together... :D
