Here's the article:

Here's the important quote:
In the fight against the arrogant American tyrant who carries the flag of the cross, we find that despite its military might, it is being crushed emotionally and morally....Fierce wars are not decided in days or weeks.
Whether or not this is true, remember what I said, 'Nothing breeds like success'. 'Success' is exactly how Al-Quaeda has recruited for the past decade. It's not just about enflaiming hatred for the US. Recruits also have to have a sense that they are winning or are going to win this fight ("[America] is being crushed emotionally and morally").
This is also a reference to the old American stereotype amongst Arabs that "despite our military might", we are weak and will not sustain the fight ("Fierce wars are not decided in days or weeks").
Do you see what I'm talking about now? Do you see the dilemma the our national (and international) security community faced, even after the Afghan war?
Thirty years of history has shown Arabs that we are weak, we don't respond accordingly despite our rhetoric. They are soft and can be taken down. The attacks will continue and Americans will run. We can defeat them and restore the Caliphate
America had to do something to gain a position of strength; to change that opinion. And if you look at the reaction to his speech yesterday, that's exactly what the Iraq war has done.
