I wanted to take a second and congratulate Greg "GruvRegulator" Duthie for running this party for over a year now! Greg has developed this night into a locals regular event. The same local dj's that are spinning at Nation have been wrecking the decks at this Atlantean underground venue all year! You want to see tagteams, they have tagteams. You want house, you get some house. Trancers, yup they got that too and yes, DnB is working its way into the mix as well.
The venue is kewl and Greg's crew is always welcoming. If you're established in the local scene or a newbie trying to play out, he's your man. He has worked his way up from the bottom and is looking at a second residency now in Sterling. Greg has been playing all over town as well, so keep your eyes open if you dig that tribal/progressive house!
Take the time to support your local scene, stop by Sangosha/Cafe Japone on Sunday nights. You'll make some good friends and good contacts if your a dj.
Much respect G, way to go!
BairE out!

Thanks Matt; I really appreiciate the kudos bro; but yer about 2 months off (sounds like an Underworld song; eh?). This was about the year anniversary of us (Max and I) just getting started and getting out to play; and thankfully it turned out to be a great experience that I never thought I'd be capable of doing a year ago. But regardless; it's been a great time; I've met/booked/heard a ton of really talented people from all kinds of genres and all over the place from the UK to LA. I think the most satisfying part of the party is being the connector to bring the DJ and the people together. This party has always been about the vibe from day one; it's one of the reasons that I think we've done so well. But I gotta give mad props to my co-hosts Max (Shaft XXL); he always brings in the people; blinging away on the cell phone to pack the place with heads and rocking the joint; also want to give much respect to Ken Lazee for providing some suggestions and guidance and for keeping the house funky!! Also many thanks to ANYONE who has EVER been out; or played out at the party; we owe you our success and many thanks for the great times!! We all go up together!!! :respekt:

I wish I could give all the dj's that rocked the joint, and all the kids who gorged themselves on kick ass Sushi, not to mention all the sake/ saporo drinkers that thought they could hang w/ the Big Shaft 2XL, a huge plur filled hug, w/ a side of mdma filled yellow cake. Greg you will 4ever be one of my best friends cuz you have a good heart, and you don't mind laughing at yourself. We know its to ez to make fun of you. Ken ur the shit too! The ladies need to know he's got mad style and he is not as Lazee as his name says. He works hard heading up promoter teams in our scene. Hardest working brother in the edm scene. Keep up the good work guys.
P.S. all you fools who haven't made it out yet or spun for us what is your problem? Don't play with me Shaft is a bad mutha!
