Canada Party name???

I am curious if anyone could tell me the name of the yearly party in Canada. I think it was the same weekend as Starscape. Also would like to hear commments from anyone whos been. :feedback:

WEMF, usualy thrown by Destination. Its a 3 day camp out usually, the past couple of years its been held in the absolute middle of nowhere. I went one year and had a great time. The music was amazing and the people were all a lot of fun. Just about everyone who's not at Starscape short of Carl Cox and Digweed usually end up there at some time over the weekend.

I would suggest you avoid their shuttle system though, that absolutely sux every year and you end up waiting at least 8 hours, sometimes much more to get out of the middle of no where. And I really mean no where, you have to zoom way out on mapquest to have some idea of where the hell you are.

Hey THANKS for the fast responce. I wanted to go last yr. but had no safe transportation. Now I have a van, so thinkin about making the trip north.

I'd suggest a decent, but cheap and light tent, actually, make everything light, they get a few thousand people(like more than 5) and have 4 guys doing searches, so that takes a while(yeah for spending 4 hours in line), and they looked through EVERYTHING when I came in. Once your inside, it is abso-freakin-lutely INSANE.

oh yeah, one more thing, when I went through customs, which is usually a non issue when going to Canadia, they decided to go through my bags and such when I told them why I was going up there. I wasn't worried about anything because I didn't have anything I wasn't supposed to, but realize that they're going to be looking for kids who are just coming into their country to party, possibly irresponsibly for a weekend and then leave.

Yea funny you mentioned the customs. I was wondering what the hell I was gonna tell them when they ask why Im entering their country. The best answer is Deff. NOT "here to party"....

WEMF...i've been there the past two years, drove all the way from philly each time. this year i definately plan on going even though now i live in md and it'll even be a longer drive. the first year i went, right before the party the venue had to be changed because i think of the sars scare then so the venue that year ended up being really shady, it was pretty much a junkyard. but even though i had an awesome time and went back again. last year the venue was a huge agricultural field with the music in airplane hangers. all i can say is that you have to experience it for yourself. awesome party and vibe!!
