in regard to the coronation, err, i mean inauguration tomorrow, i don't think most of the roads from virginia leading to nation will be affected. just take 395 instead of 66, b/c the 110 by the pentagram will be closed as will 27/wash blvd on the other side of it too.

coming from maryland (bmore, pg and annapolis) should be fine with the howard rd. exit off the anacostia freeway. not sure about mont. county peeps.

anybody have any idea on whether the protesters this year will be as vociferous as in 2001? hard to tell with so many activist groups using alternative (re: old fashioned) communication methods, b/c mobile phones are tapped and email intercepted to disrupt organized protests.

and the astronomical security bill for this inauguration should be a big HINT that a lot of people don't like this administration or they wouldn't be taking these paranoid extremist measures. they'll blame it on the terrorists, but i think the bush dynasty is more concerned about protesters making the president look bad, than they are about someone blowing up the white house.

still i was encouraged by a friend who's going with his father to throw rotten tomatoes on thursday. slightly humorus was the "anarchist" busted in georgetown putting "go back to fuckin texas you fucks" stickers on all cars with texas plates. there are a LOT of texas plates in town this week.

Anyway, first and foremost - congrats to Dirtbox Radio for the victory. You guys definitely deserve it. Dirtbox has been a staple for the internet radio scene in this area for quite some time. In fact, when I first started Expansion Broadcast back in Sept '03, I modeled its format almost entirely after Dirtbox. So yadda yadda yadda, much respect to Jackson/ODJ and all his crew for doing what you've been doing for so long and w/ such dedication.

Thanks also goes out to John Tab for allowing me to host this night as well as each and ever person who showed up not only to support this Alias battle, but who have also been supporting the local internet radio shows all this time.

Lastly, thanks goes out to my cohost Liam/Shade for helping me take Expansion Broadcast to the next level. And of course I cannot forget all my hardworking and supportive Expansion Broadcast residents - Ali/Hitoi, Mike/Darkenetiks, and Kian/Godfather Sage - ya'll rock!
