bingo...I don't play too much of it, but that stuff is top notch. Plus, it's mostly dnb producers doing breaks, which is the best. I love playing breaks for dnb heads, and getting good feedback. It's like making soldiers smile.

I've liked the direction functional has taken too. They've done some good acid tracks lately. I'm not too into the more commercial stuff they do, but I've run into some really good gems there. Mantra breaks is also something that perks my ears. Their presses are kind of thin though, unofrtunately, but the brazilian breaks sound is NICE.

I'm assuming you're referring to Zinc's stuff......If so, I agree. His breaky stuff is the shit.
How big of a tune is the Go DJ remix?

I feel ya ian on the deepcut thing, except there were only a few releases last year. I've gotta go with two, but they're basically the same label as just about all the artists have releases on both.

Definately aggree. Have you heard the new Afrika Bambatta LP? Most of the tracks were produced by Fort Knox Five. As well as The DUKEYMAN, Uberzone, and Simply Jeff.

I enjoyed EMUOR.
DDB started strong, then petered out disappointingly.
I'll second the Kilowatt nomination.
