Today we start the show of with some Booty shakin' house by a quite diverse dj from Arizona:
DJ STIMULATION - Surreal Entertainment | PM Dark Productions AZ
At an early age he was influenced by the sounds of soulful R&B, Gospel & early hip-hop music. Being a diehard hip-hop kid he used watch his brother breakdance on cardboard to groups like Rundmc & the beastie boys. But soon the world would collapse on this man. Due to unforeseen issues with his family he became an orphan on the streets. Using music as his sanity he got through the hard times.
While being even more influenced through children's homes & foster care he was exposed not just new people but to New Sounds ranging from Metallica to Nirvana. Never being content with the norm he discovered early techno groups like technotronic, Mantronix, Nine Inch Nails, & 2 Unlimited. The dance music bug officially bit him.
He started Mcing to Hip-Hop in 1993.In the midst of mcing with family & friends on a regular basis he discovered that he had an obsession problem with scratching records.
By 1996 he had officially decided to start djing on & off. Whether it was at a House party or the bedroom, the desire only became greater. By 1999 He was helping production companies throw raves. In 2000 he joined up with a group of people to create Surreal Entertainment, which is now 1 of the largest electronic music production companies in the state of Arizona. Having played along side the likes of Superstars Dj's like Dj Simply Jeff, Charles Feelgood, Donald Glaude, Nicholas Bennison, Machete, Jason Dey Splat & Alex Reez, Dara & most recently Craze & Juju, Expect to hear more from Stimulation.
And from the other side of the world we present to you :
Dave Dempsey - Tranceairways | Trance-trax.com UK
<!--StartFragment -->Around 1998 Dave started listening to Dance music through Radio 1 listening to DJ’s such as Pete Tong, Tall Paul and Paul Oakenfold. These mixes inspired him to get into the music more and learn how to mix like these DJ’s. So at the end of 2000, he managed to scrape enough money together to buy myself some decks. Dave started off with Citronic PD-1’s and a basic mixer, which helped him master his trade. He is now using Technic 1210’s with a pioneer djm 500 and a Kam dual CD player. He tried to get his set-up as close to the set-up you would find in most clubs, to familiarise himself with the equipment. He is constantly trying to upgrade and expand his equipment to familiarise himself with new technologies and use the equipment to its full potential.
His main aim is to get his music and mixing out to everybody he possibly can, to try and take them emotionally to a place where they have never been before.
He has been playing out live since October 2002 at various gigs, in Liverpool, Wigan, Leicester, London and Sheffield to name but a few.
Dave currently has monthly residencies on two of the best internet radio stations around, TranceAirwaves and Trancesphere. With these both being 2 hour slots, they allow Dave to take his listeners on a musical journey of Trance.
Dave has have been producing for about a year now, his productions and remixes have come along way since he started out. Dave try's to use as much equipment and software as possible to always better my production skills and knowledge. Producing has also given him a greater knowledge of Trance music and music as a whole.
"Over the years I have listened to lots of DJ’s but my favourites have to be Matt Hardwick, Scott Bond, and Armin van Buuren, listening to their mixes has inspired me to improve my mixing and production skills to try to be as good as they are (or maybe better)."
