Nigel im kinda...meh about. Ive only heard him once. It was alright, just seemed rather bland compared to what I expected from him. But he is spinnin teh acid and that shall be interesting in itself. I can not wait for this party, haven't seen a line-up like this in DC for sometime now. A big Thank You to the peeps throwing this party. I can't really bring myself to complain about this party, so I guess consider this next part as a suggestion for a possible future event... I know for HHC Anabolic Frolic was probably picked becuase he is a name everyone knows and can get a good draw. With that in mind... I have heard him spin sooo many times, and yeah he throws down a decent set, but if you want a REALLY good HHC DJ (IMHO), go with someone like Luna C or my personal favorite right now, DJ No Left Turn. If anyone on this board hasn't heard DJ NLT's shit yet and like HC, search for it and download it, its fucking nuts!

But with all that said, EVERYONE should come to this event, we need to support other non-Buzz events around DC, and these guys have done a great job at putting together a great party. Please keep comming back to DC and having events!

Yeah, I've definitely been to Buzz on crutches before. Last January when I busted my ankle (yay for third degree sprains and three torn ligaments!) I really wanted to go hear Micro spin in early February. I managed to get a shoe on my foot (which hurt like hell and then some) and hopped in my car for the first time in about three weeks, and made it down there. Most of the night I just sat on a big box conversing with people, but every once in a while I managed to stand on one foot to play with glowsticks. It turned out to be a really good night, and everyone was really cool about watching out for the guy on crutches.

So yeah, definitely just got home (I know it's still relatively early) and I had a wonderful time. Anabolic Frolic threw down a great, great set, and I was very happy by about midway through the first song. The rest of the night was an interesting mix of genres. There were lots of cool people there, which made the night all that much better. Yay for no work tomorrow!!!

Umm , I got there when nigel richards was plaing , and his set was awsome . Nigel is one of my favorite D.J. to listen . Anabolic Frokic was a great treat to listen . I have heard some of his tracks on Radio-Freedom and wanted to hear the sound live . Adam X , umm lol , he started off real good but after the 3 or 4th train wreck i was abot done for the night . I was annoyed that the bar closed for some reason and I couldn't get a red bull , but yet someone else could get a gator aide and these girls were drinking beers well after last call . As far nation night club is concerned , I really think it make a nice parking lot , and this was the last "event" I am attending there . I also feel i am to old for that place , and I just see it as what it is , burned out . I hope Buzzlife throws some Philly events someday :| , al in all a great time but the venue is BEAT

I am not saying buzzlife is responsable for the venue :) . The venue it self "Nation " D.C. Ball Room" is beat to death . It had its prime , then slumped , then primed agian , but now the venue is kind of depressing . Not sure if you even noticed the sound after Anabolic played , it just went to poo . Could of been Adam X not giving a fudge or just beat speakers .

I LOVE BUZZLIFE FOR EVER , it will always be the place that sparked a fire for electronica for me , but the Venue it self is over imo . I think it is time for smaller place . Look at Transit in Philly , it is not the biggest place but it has great atmosphere and great vibe . Nation seems to be struggling with obtaining the vibe and atmosphere with 1/4 packed rooms and unstable sound .. ...

Buzzlife will always be my choice for events , just not at the nation venue .

Hands down , Nigel Richards has always been on the top of my list . He is just freaking awsome :D , I also like the fact that he isn't afraid to chill in the crowd , it is awsome when people with national and international status can just kick it on the floor :)

i thought that party was weak. there was no energy on the dancefloor except for part of Anabolic's set. never seen so many people just standing around on the dancefloor. the music sucked almost the whole party. i knew i was going to be pissed payin $25 for that shit.

I do say this - if you want HHC at Cubik, start a thread about it. Get all your friends to come out to cubik, then have all your friends sign up to the BuzzBoard and post about wanting it there......
